There are only a few short weeks until our annual Missouri Water Polo Trivia Fundraiser! The trivia night is set for Friday, March 1, 2013 at Andres West in Fenton from 7:00-11:00. This year we will be serving appetizers (toasted raviolis, chicken wings, and a veggie tray) with an open bar (beer, wine, mixers, soda). People are welcome to bring additional food; however, they are not allowed to bring alcohol. This is an adults only event.

We are looking for 100% participation. With 23 high schools playing water polo, if EVERY SCHOOL FILLED ONE TABLE AND DONATED ONE ITEM/BASKET TO BE RAFFLED, our event will be a success. Each table holds 10 people, and tickets are $25 per person. So far we have 11 tables spoken for, so we are one third of the way there… there are still 21 tables to fill!

We are doing a different kind of trivia this year… musical trivia with Rob Cutler (The Edge DJ Productions). It is very interactive for everyone… be sure to think of who you might want to nominate (for a donation, of course) to hum a song that the audience has to guess!

We’ll be selling raffle tickets for the donated items (baskets put together by individuals or teams, items donated from businesses, etc.), and the usual favorites of 50/50 tickets and heads or tails will be played so come with cash to play.  It has been difficult to get donations because many corporations require a tax exempt form or a 501C3 form, which we currently don’t have.  We could really use your help, and any connections you may have, for donations.  Following are the raffle items we have so far:

1. Four baskets donated by Fort Zumwalt West parents (31 basket, Tastefully Simple basket, Happy Hour basket, and board of restaurant gift cards)

2. 2 Cardinals tickets

3. “Girls Can’t Do What?” tote bag and ornament

4. Apple Bees Gift Cards from Frost Electric

We need you to get excited about this event. Without your help, this event will not be a success!
